A series of photographs depicting Fadwa Harb, one of the first models the artist’s father (a fashion designer) dressed, showing her wearing several dresses intended for his wealthy client at the time: a Saudi Arabian princess. Tragically, in a bout of pure jealousy, the beautiful princess was poisoned and murdered before she could wear the custom-made garments that Fadwa modeled. The work presents a dark drama lurking beneath images that, on their surface, seem purely innocent and nostalgic.
